Always stay connected. Love+Light. RIP Brian, a sweet kind soul

Brian has sent me the most wonderful emails about how he feels about Music.  He lived with pain most of his life,  severe in-and-out-of-hospitals-uncertainty-if-he-could-make-it-out-alive kind of pain.  Music was his painless sanctuary.

Live, love, laugh, share your love while you can.  It is fleeting.

Sending my condolences to his friends and family.   Peace and love, and light……

“Hello Free,
It is with a sad heart that I share with you that on Monday, August 11th, Brian passed. I spoke with his father and he informed me that he passed quietly and comfortably. I’m sorry it took me this long to get this information to you, but he was my best friend and I very much considered him a brother, so grieving more or less kept my head from being all that clear. He did tell me several times on the phone that the fact that you were willing to do a private concert for him made him extremely happy, even though due to his many hospital visits and computer problems it prevented him from getting to. He is the one that turned me on to your work (Kidneythieves) years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since, even though I unknowingly knew about you from almost a decade prior from the Queen of the Damned soundtrack. His favorite songs that I can remember off the top of my head were Dyskrasia and Veteran. I know this may sound wrong, but I’m happy that he’s not in pain anymore. He lived with a lot of pain for most of his life. I honestly believe he’s in a better place now. Thank you from both of us that you were willing to give him a private show, I know he would have wanted me to extend his gratitude on his behalf. You’re amazing and the fact that you were willing to do so puts you above every other artist out there.
