We are not alone: An enriching experience through a Kickstarter Skype
(I went back and forth on posting this~and then I realized, fuck it, i’m not to cool, and sharing with others is what helps us get on in this piece of dirt around the sun). So here you go:
This beautiful woman who has been a part of the music over the years got the “skype AMA / a cappella” on Volcano+The Sea Kickstarter.
So unexpected. We got spiritual… What “spiritual” means to me - when i say it, for myself - is that a connection of vibrations, accessing consciousness in ourselves, and keeping ourselves as balanced as possible…to work on the “inside job” so we can give to others (which is the reward), along, against and with the strong currents of our challenges of being a human being. if materialism is on one end of the spectrum, “spiritual” would be at the other end.
i then sang “Relief” a cappella. I have to say - it was such a deep experience. there were tears. i think i forgot a couple of lyrics… because we both realized, we are of the same ‘stardust’ - and we are all made of music.
these experiences, and i get to have many of them, are the serenity and sanity in what seems to be, at times, insane choice to do music.
