Last night’s show.
When i think about what it’s like to be an artist and keeping this thing going, I think about last night: It was a great example of the beauty of art/music. when i see people being brought together, like Noah+Jessica, who met on the KT message board and now are getting married, friends i’ve made because of this, beautiful smiling faces and good hearts, it really does make me happy. I do not take this for granted at all. Last night there was such a cross-section of age, demographic, lifestyle, ethnicity–it made me happy that one thing could bring us all in a room and share something. Thank you for supporting me, and supporting the art you love in general. I am forever grateful that music does this: it is a conduit to remind us we are ALL one and in this together. p+l FD
