A-Ha! Moment

It is amazing how we can build things in our heads to be such obstacles.  Then when we roll up our sleeves and step into it, it’s like…. That’s all it was?

It’s just life.  as Steve Mason, poet laureate of the Veterans said,

Life isn’t personal.  it just feels personal.

Seriously, how important are we in the scheme of things?  Our egos can really make a big deal out of the shell of our “story” that we are used to hearing about ourselves. I mean, who are we if we don’t identify with our past chapters we’ve written?  It’s one thing to live and write the chapter, it’s another to turn the page.

In my a-ha moment, i felt like i shed an entire shell i was wearing.  I feel kinda dumb for letting that shell be there in the first place, but more importantly, i feel empowered, and not dragged down by the weight of the shell.

And as i get on in this world,
