UPDATES.
Getting ready for Kickstarter is a great learning experience. I am getting deeper into the *Guts* of online community, and am finding some serious dots that need to be connected.
I am most definitely going to be reaching out for “shares” etc. on the social networks, because I have learned the pitfalls of the algorithms that FB has created for less visibility - which really impales the indie artist. THATS OK, I have positive vibes of how this is going to go down. We are gonna, together, make a beautiful experience and album.
On another note, i know that Kickstarter recommends “30 days” but since i am doing this by myself, i am really going to NEED the extra 10 days i’m putting on it, because I can only be so many places at once.
I *JUST* sent stems for Darkest Rivers (remix) to M. Shawn Crahan,Kyle Sherrod, Matt McJunkins and Jeff Friedl. Next is “Wolf” which goes to Sascha/KMFDM and Beat Ventriloquists!
The video will be shot MONDAY and i’m NOT USING A SCRIPT. Just some honest direct communication.
I am leaking some things i will be offering. I have a stash of FIVE ORIGINAL test prints from Zerospace. These are works of art on beautiful stock and natural sepia printing ***NOT DIGITAL** this is FILM!! that i think no matter what will hold up framed beautifully in any setting. I will release about 10 polaroids from the shoot, and 4 contact sheets (that also are frame-worthy).
If you have any suggestions, this will most definitely be a work in progress, and i have a ways to go.
ONE MORE THING: I think for this to be even more successful, I need to wait until I can announce the Video Game soundtrack that I am on. So, I will find out soon, but I think i will be able to talk about it soon!!
